What We Offer

Regent School has grown to now operate from Regent 1 and Regent 2 buildings – both situated on Ekareach Street in SihanoukVille, Preah Sihanouk Province and while growth is certainly in our focus we pride ourselves on knowing each student, their particular background and needs as an individual and will retain this as our center of attention. With the environmental conditions of our students so varied, this is a critical factor in our student welfare focus.

We offer a teaching staff made up of people who love teaching. Every teacher has made a career choice to teach English and particularly enjoy the challenge that comes with the diverse backgrounds of our students and many of our teachers have struggled to attain their further education themselves so they have great compassion and understanding for this younger generation.

We offer prospective parents and sponsors an open entry policy. Any child can be enrolled at Regent School so long as we can meet their needs. We have a diverse student body representing a wide range of ages, backgrounds and from all walks of life. Parents come from successful businesses both large & small, or professional employment in police, army, navy, government etc while many others simply strive to give their children opportunities they weren’t able to have – driving Moto’s, Tuk Tuks, or working nights in Hotels bars etc in second and third jobs after completing their daily work. Then we have the sponsored children who have come into contact with tourists, or current sponsors who kindly encourage their family and friends in their homelands to join them and share a small part of their lives with these bright enthusiastic kids who are the future of Cambodia. We currently have over 300 sponsors from all over the world and can’t thank them enough for the difference they are making to the lives of our poorer children and their aspirations.

Many of our students gain employment in local Businesses, Banks, Government and Hotels, in administrative & reception roles due to their English conversation and rounded education and they are so very proud of their achievements
